Dear Parishioners and Friends:

After two successful pilgrimages to the Holy Land, people are still asking if we will be returning.  The answer is a resounding, "Yes!"  A trip in the footsteps of Jesus is a life changing event: suddenly scripture passages that we have heard over and over again come alive and make sense in ways we never could imagine, the life of Jesus takes on new meaning for our own lives, we feel closer to God because we have made a pilgrimage to find Him at His roots. A pilgrimage is a spiritual journey to a holy place. Our trip to the Holy Land is not a vacation, but it is filled with laughter, tears, prayers, friendship and fun.  More importantly it is filled with experiences that deepen our understanding of and faith in the living God. It will be a trip to the major sites and churches associated with our Lord. There we will celebrate Mass and give thanks to Almighty God for all He has given to us, especially the gift of His Son.  This is a wonderful opportunity to give public witness to your faith, to live fraternity and charity. Tour Itinerary

Tour Cost: $2875 per person, based on double occupancy
                 Single supplement: $475

Payment Schedule: $100 deposit upon registration
                                $1000 by October 31, 2008
                                Final payment by the end of 2008

Important to know

Register early to avoid disappointment Maximum of 50 pilgrims can be accommodated on this tour. First come, first served!

Booking Complete the Registration Form and mail/deliver with a $ 100 per person non refundable deposit made payable to Brinkman Travel Inc, 3 Mountainview Drive, St. Catharines, ON  L2T 3H3. The premium for the optional but highly recommended insurance is also due at the time of booking. A second payment of $1000 per person is due by October 31 and final payment by the end of the year 2008 (postdated cheques are recommended).

Insurance Brinkman Travel strongly recommends you take out its RBC package insurance protecting you from penalties in the event you would need to cancel due to medical reasons to yourself or someone in your immediate family, as well as giving you peace of mind should something unforeseen happen while abroad.

Cancellations and Refunds All cancellations, changes or refund requests must be received in writing and shall be considered in effect as of the date notice is received.

Cancellation Fees Cancellations are subject to the following cancellation penalties:

• Deposit is non-refundable

• Cancellation fee for canceling between October 31 and December 31, 2008: $1100 

• Canceling on January 1, 2009 or after: 100% non refundable.

If you need to cancel, Brinkman Travel Inc will refund all money paid towards the tour less the applicable cancellation fee and the insurance premium. These charges apply to the tour only and do not include cancellation charges for any other arrangements.

Pricing All prices are based on a minimum group size (36 people), current exchange rates and supplier quotations. In the event that significant changes take place due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to adjust the prices.

Itinerary The right is reserved to withdraw all or part of the tour should conditions warrant and to make such alterations in the itinerary and/or accommodation, as well as places of worship, as may be found desirable for the convenience of the tour members or proper execution of the tour.

Shared and Single Accommodation Passengers must indicate at the time of booking whether they want to share a room of if they prefer a single room; there are a limited number of single rooms available. Your roommate, if known, should also be indicated. Triple rooms, while not recommended, can usually be arranged. Should it not be possible to find a compatible room mate, then the single person must be prepared to pay the single supplement no later than one month prior to departure.

Unused Tour Arrangements Portions of tour arrangements, or any other service or feature of the package, which are not used, are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Passport Canadian and U.S. citizens must be in possession of a passport valid for at least three months from return date and do not need a visa to enter Israel. Please provide Brinkman Travel with a copy of the information page of your valid passport no later than October 31, 2008.

Travel Documentation Tour documents (itinerary, airline tickets, passenger list, suggested packing list and other information material) will be handed out at least three weeks prior to departure at a time and place to be announced later.

Responsibility Brinkman Travel Inc of St. Catharines, Ontario acts as an agent for the various companies, owners and contractors providing means of transportation, accommodation or other services. Brinkman Travel Inc assumes no responsibility or liability in connection with the service of any aircraft, vessel, carriage or other conveyance that is used wholly or in part, in the performance of this duty to the passengers. Neither will Brinkman Travel Inc be responsible for any act, omission or error, or for any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, or any neglect or default of any company or person engaged in carrying out the purposes for which tickets or coupons have been issued. We assume no responsibility or liability for errors or omissions resulting from acts of God, strikes, weather, quarantines, sickness, government regulations or any loss or expense resulting from the above contingencies. Expenses for said losses shall be borne by the tour members. If the spiritual leader, Father Stuart MacDonald, is unable to lead the group due to unforeseen circumstances, Brinkman Travel Inc will not be held liable, and will endeavor to find a suitable replacement.
